We are seeking an experienced .Net Developer to join an established project team working on the delivery, optimisation, and ongoing support of enterprise web portals. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a significant program of work, finalising critical changes while also supporting, enhancing, and optimising existing solutions.<br><br> You will work across project delivery and BAU activities, building and maintaining configurations, workflows, and code in a well-established environment. The role also provides the opportunity to contribute to additional Microsoft project work as required by the business.<br> <br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework 6.</li> <li>Write efficient and optimised SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database structures.</li> <li>Enhance front-end components with jQuery and Knockout.js to deliver responsive, user-friendly experiences.</li> <li>Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and other developers to ensure solutions meet requirements and standards.</li> <li>Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions.</li> <li>Ensure code quality meets security, performance, and accessibility standards.</li> </ul> <strong>About You</strong> <ul> <li>3+ years’ commercial experience in C#.NET development.</li> <li>Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework 6.</li> <li>Strong experience with SQL Server (queries, optimisation, stored procedures).</li> <li>Solid front-end skills using jQuery and Knockout.js.</li> <li>Experience in agile delivery environments with tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.</li> <li>Strong analytical problem-solving skills with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.</li> </ul> <strong>Desirable Skills</strong> <ul> <li>Familiarity with the Australian energy domain.</li> <li>Experience with Git-based source control, build and release pipelines.</li> <li>Knowledge of ITSM systems.</li> <li>Exposure to DevOps, Jira, and agile methodologies.</li> </ul> This role will be offered as an initial 6 month contract + view to extend.<br><br>To apply please send your resume of contact Nat at Blackroc on 0430 292 875 or Natalie@blackroc.co
