<strong>Business Analyst – Cyber Uplift Program </strong><br>Contract | 6 months + extensions | Brisbane (preferred) or NSW/VIC | Hybrid<br><br><strong>About the role </strong><br>We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a major Cyber Uplift Program, providing end-to-end business analysis support across risk, compliance, data modelling, and solution delivery.<br><br> Working closely with program and project managers, you will deliver critical analysis, documentation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the program achieves its strategic objectives. This is a high-impact role requiring strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills within a complex digital environment.<br><br> <strong>Key responsibilities:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Conduct data analysis, risk analysis, process modelling and benefits realisation.</li> <li>Develop artefacts defining current and future state, including roadmaps to target states.</li> <li>Support project delivery with analysis, stakeholder engagement, testing and transition planning.</li> <li>Prepare high-quality business cases, option papers, and process documentation.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and policies.</li> </ul> <strong>Skills & experience </strong><br><strong>Essential</strong><br> <ul> <li>8+ years’ experience in complex business analysis roles within cyber, risk, or adjacent industries.</li> <li>Strong experience with risk management methodologies, measurement and reporting.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to design and deliver business cases, reports, dashboards and transition artefacts.</li> <li>Advanced business intelligence skills (Excel, PowerBI).</li> <li>Working knowledge of industry security standards (e.g. NIST, Essential 8, ASD ISM).</li> <li>Proven ability to gather, document and gain agreement on requirements.</li> <li>Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills in dynamic environments.</li> </ul> <strong>Desirable</strong><br> <ul> <li>Familiarity with GRC platforms and automation of compliance/risk activities.</li> <li>Knowledge of AES-CSF, SOCI Act and Zero Trust frameworks.</li> <li>Experience in financial analysis (ROI, NPV, benefits realisation).</li> <li>Background in the energy sector.</li> <li>Agile project delivery experience with modern project tools.</li> </ul> To apply, please click the '<strong>Apply</strong>' button to submit the most recent copy of your resume and cover letter.
