Join a major digital transformation program focused on strengthening enterprise-wide cyber security capabilities. This is a key role supporting a large-scale Cyber Uplift Program, contributing to the delivery of business-critical outcomes across cyber governance, risk, compliance and enterprise security functions.<br><br> About the Role As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Cyber Uplift Program Manager and Project Managers to deliver high-quality business analysis services across discovery, design, build, and implementation phases. The role will navigate across business units and technical teams, supporting the delivery of effective, secure and sustainable cyber capabilities.<br><br> <strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong> <ul> <li>Conduct data analysis and modelling to inform cyber security initiatives.</li> <li>Perform risk analysis, measurement, and mapping to support compliance and assurance activities.</li> <li>Lead process analysis and modelling, identifying improvements and efficiencies.</li> <li>Develop business cases, option papers, benefits mapping, and realisation plans.</li> <li>Support solution design and implementation, including requirements lifecycle management.</li> <li>Produce high-quality reports and artefacts detailing current and future state models.</li> <li>Translate complex metrics into actionable dashboards and business intelligence reporting.</li> <li>Engage stakeholders across business and technical teams to ensure alignment on outcomes.</li> <li>Facilitate workshops, support testing cycles, and develop operational transition artefacts.</li> </ul> <strong>Required Experience:</strong> <ul> <li>8+ years&rsquo; experience in senior business analysis roles, ideally within cyber or related domains.</li> <li>Strong background in risk management methodologies, measurement and reporting.</li> <li>Experience in end-to-end development of business-aligned data models, reports, and dashboards.</li> <li>Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Excel.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality business documentation including business cases, option papers, and process artefacts.</li> <li>Skilled in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement in complex environments.</li> </ul> <strong>Highly Regarded:</strong> <ul> <li>Familiarity with GRC platforms and frameworks such as NIST, Essential 8, ASD ISM, AES-CSF, or the SOCI Act.</li> <li>Working knowledge of network security principles and Zero Trust architecture.</li> <li>Experience with benefit realisation frameworks, ROI/NPV analysis.</li> <li>Previous exposure to Agile delivery methods and associated toolsets.</li> <li>Background in the energy, utilities, or critical infrastructure sectors.</li> </ul> This role will be offered as an initial 6 month contract + view to extend.<br><br>To apply please send your resume or contact Nat at Blackroc on 0430 292 875 or Natalie@blackroc.co
