BLACKROC is working with a well-established local organisation to recruit a <strong>Service Desk Technician</strong> into their internal technology team. This is a <strong>permanent role</strong> based in <strong>Brisbane</strong>, ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality support and wants to grow in a stable, expanding business environment.<br> <br> <strong>Please note: </strong>This role is 100% onsite at the organisation's Brisbane office.<br> <br> <strong>Role Purpose</strong><br> In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT support, assisting users across the business and helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You'll gain exposure to a Microsoft-focused environment and play a key role in supporting users both technically and professionally, with real opportunities to grow your skills and career over time.<br> <br> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br> <ul> <li>Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support to end users</li> <li>Troubleshoot issues across Windows, Office 365, and other Microsoft platforms</li> <li>Manage tickets through the internal ITSM tool and escalate as needed</li> <li>Assist with hardware setup, configuration, and general IT maintenance</li> <li>Work collaboratively with the internal IT team to maintain systems and services</li> <li>Deliver clear and timely communication to non-technical stakeholders</li> </ul> <br> <strong>Required Skills and Experience</strong><br> <ul> <li>1–3+ years experience in an IT Service Desk or Helpdesk role</li> <li>Knowledge of Microsoft technologies – Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory</li> <li>Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude</li> <li>Experience with ticketing systems and IT support processes</li> <li>Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment</li> </ul> <br> <strong>Desirable</strong><br> <ul> <li>Exposure to Azure AD, Intune, or Teams administration</li> <li>IT certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.)</li> <li>Experience in internal IT within medium to large organisations</li> </ul> <br> Please click the 'Apply' button to submit your resume and cover letter.
