<strong>About the role</strong> <br>We're seeking an experienced Defect Test Manager to oversee the full defect lifecycle within a major transformation program. This role sits within the Technology Services Division and supports multiple agile squads delivering fit-for-purpose ICT solutions within a complex Salesforce environment.<br><br> The successful candidate will drive quality governance, coordinate defect management across squads, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that support test effectiveness, reliability, and traceability.<br><br> <strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Oversee and manage the defect lifecycle from identification to resolution across multiple Agile squads</li> <li>Use Jira/Xray to track defects, generate dashboards, and report on metrics</li> <li>Act as the central contact for defect communication across up to 10 Agile squads</li> <li>Coordinate closely with Release Managers and stakeholders to validate fix deployment</li> <li>Champion quality-first culture through mentorship and structured governance</li> <li>Prepare weekly defect and trend reports, including KPIs such as reopen rate and turnaround</li> </ul> <strong>Open to Australian Citizens ONLY - offices based in QLD, VIC, NSW, TAS, WA, NT, SA. Security Clearances are highly regarded<br></strong><br><strong>Skills & Experience</strong> <br><strong>Essential:</strong><br> <ul> <li>5+ years in test or defect management roles in large Agile environments</li> <li>Advanced Jira/Xray skills including dashboards, filters, workflows, traceability</li> <li>Experience with Salesforce platforms (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.)</li> <li>Strong grasp of defect metrics and understanding of SIT, UAT, and warranty cycles</li> <li>Proven leadership in defect governance forums and agile squad coordination</li> </ul> <strong>Desirable:</strong><br> <ul> <li>ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Certification</li> <li>Experience in government or disability/health sectors</li> <li>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration testing strategies</li> </ul> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div>To apply, please click the '<strong>Apply</strong>' button to submit the most recent copy of your resume and cover letter.
