An opportunity exists for an experienced <strong>Program Planner / Scheduler</strong> to join a large-scale transformation program delivering a modern enterprise data and analytics capability for a major Queensland Government department.<br> <br> Working within a forward-thinking Strategy and Performance team, this program is establishing the organisation’s first centralised data platform — a multi-year initiative designed to deliver trusted, timely insights that inform critical operational and strategic decision-making across education services statewide.<br> <strong> </strong> <br> <strong>About the Role</strong><br> This role will support a complex, multi-stream program consisting of projects focused on <strong>data governance, architecture, and enterprise data platform delivery</strong>.<br><br> You’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analysing integrated master schedules across the program — ensuring dependencies, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined and aligned.<br> <strong> </strong> <br> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br> <ul> <li>Build and maintain integrated program and project schedules, identifying dependencies and risks.</li> <li>Support schedule governance, reporting, and performance measurement across workstreams.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with PMs, architects, engineers, and data specialists to ensure alignment and achievable timelines.</li> <li>Conduct schedule risk analysis and scenario planning to inform executive decision-making.</li> <li>Provide schedule reporting and insights through Power BI and other tools to support program governance.</li> <li>Support resource planning, forecasting, and workload optimisation.</li> </ul> <strong> </strong> <br> <strong>Skills & Experience</strong><br> <ul> <li>5+ years’ experience in <strong>project or program scheduling</strong> across complex ICT or enterprise data programs.</li> <li>Strong capability in tools such as <strong>Microsoft Project, Primavera P6</strong>, or equivalent.</li> <li>Experience within <strong>data-centric or platform delivery programs</strong> (data governance, cloud data platforms, analytics).</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>Agile delivery environments</strong> and hybrid project frameworks.</li> <li>Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.</li> <li>Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience highly regarded.</li> <li>Exposure to <strong>cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)</strong> advantageous.</li> </ul> <br> This role will be offered as an initial 6 month contract + view to extend.<br> <br> To apply please send your resume or contact Nat at BLACKROC on 0430 292 875 or Natalie@blackroc.co
