<strong>Location:</strong> Brisbane (2 days WFH per week, 9 days fortnight)<br><br>BLACKROC is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a <strong>Network Support Engineer</strong> on a <strong>permanent basis</strong>. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of enterprise networking operations while also contributing to projects, upgrades, and improvement initiatives.<br><br> <strong>Role Purpose</strong> <br>The Network Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting and optimising enterprise networking environments across multiple sites. The role is split between BAU operational support (60%) and project work (40%), including upgrades, network transitions, and technology optimisation.<br><br> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> <ul> <li>Act as the escalation point for all network-related incidents.</li> <li>Deliver BAU support, troubleshooting, and proactive optimisation.</li> <li>Support enterprise networking including routing, switching, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and wireless optimisation.</li> <li>Work with Cisco Meraki networking hardware and dashboard administration.</li> <li>Contribute to network projects, including upgrades and new site rollouts.</li> <li>Assist in monitoring, maintenance, and documentation of network environments.</li> </ul> <strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong> <ul> <li>5+ years’ experience in network engineering or support (enterprise or MSP).</li> <li>Strong technical skills in routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, VPNs, QoS, and wireless.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki hardware and administration.</li> <li>Relevant certifications (CCNA minimum, CCNP highly regarded).</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues across the OSI model.</li> <li>Familiarity with firewalls, security appliances, and monitoring platforms.</li> <li>Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.</li> </ul> This role will suit a proactive engineer who enjoys tackling complex network problems while also contributing to long-term improvement projects.<br><br> Please click the <strong>‘Apply’</strong> button to submit your resume.
