<strong>Role </strong><br> The ERP Solutions Manager is responsible for the strategy, planning, architecture, design, and operations of the organisation’s Workday suite of products. This includes Workday HCM (Recruiting, Payroll, Time Tracking, Talent and Learning Management), Finance, and Adaptive Planning.<br><br> This role requires a strategic leader with hands-on expertise across key Workday modules who can oversee the broader Workday initiative, ensuring best-of-breed architectures, governance frameworks, and implementation practices are applied across all business units. The ERP Solutions Manager will drive continuous improvement, scalability, and successful outcomes in all Workday-related initiatives.<br><br> <strong>Position Scope</strong><br> This is a senior leadership role at the centre of the organisation’s ERP strategy. The ERP Solutions Manager will shape how Workday enables business transformation, ensuring the platform continues to evolve as a reliable, scalable, and future-ready system.<br><br> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br> <strong>Strategic Oversight & Architecture</strong><br> <ul> <li>Serve as the functional and technical owner of the Workday suite (HCM, Financials, Payroll, Recruiting, Time Tracking, etc.).</li> <li>Define and maintain the strategic roadmap for Workday, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and enterprise architecture standards.</li> <li>Establish and enforce best-practice architectural designs, integrations, and data models within the platform.</li> </ul> <strong>Governance & Compliance</strong><br> <ul> <li>Develop and lead governance processes across configuration, release management, security, access controls, and change management.</li> <li>Ensure ERP data and systems comply with regulatory requirements and internal controls.</li> </ul> <strong>Business Partnership & Advisory</strong><br> <ul> <li>Act as a trusted advisor to Finance, HR, Technology, and other business functions, translating requirements into scalable Workday solutions.</li> <li>Drive process optimisation, automation opportunities, and adoption of Workday capabilities.</li> </ul> <strong>Team Leadership & Vendor Management</strong><br> <ul> <li>Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of Workday specialists.</li> <li>Manage vendor partnerships, ensuring contract compliance and service excellence.</li> <li>Build a collaborative, high-performance culture with a focus on innovation and delivery.</li> </ul> <strong>Skills/Experience Required</strong><br> <ul> <li>7+ years of ERP management experience, including 5+ years with the Workday suite.</li> <li>In-depth expertise across Workday modules (HCM, Finance, Payroll) and integration tools (Workday Studio, EIB, Workday Web Services).</li> <li>Strong background in enterprise architecture and ERP governance frameworks.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale ERP projects on time and within budget.</li> <li>Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills.</li> <li>Proven leadership experience managing ERP functional and/or technical teams.</li> </ul> <strong>Preferred</strong><br> <ul> <li>Workday Pro certification or equivalent partner training.</li> <li>Experience in large, complex or multi-entity environments.</li> <li>Familiarity with agile delivery and modern DevOps practices.</li> </ul> Able to work in Australia, ready to learn more about this?
