Release Manager

We are seeking a Release Manager&nbsp;to join a Federal Government Agency. As a Release Manager, you will support program delivery by developing detailed technical implementation schedules and ensuring seamless coordination with testing and engineering teams. You will also contribute to environment management planning and maintain high-quality release readiness artefacts.<br><br> <strong>Responsibilities include:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Manage detailed release schedules with accurate technical implementation activities and dependencies.</li> <li>Identify and manage delivery dependencies across project and business areas.</li> <li>Support Delivery and Project Managers in maintaining consistent, high-quality release readiness artefacts.</li> <li>Assist Delivery Leads by ensuring release schedules align with program reporting cadence.</li> <li>Identify and escalate potential schedule conflicts or risks proactively.</li> </ul> <strong>Skills &amp; Experience</strong> <br><strong>Essential:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent stakeholder engagement ability.</li> <li>Demonstrated analytical skills to identify problems and improve release processes.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills, managing multiple releases and coordinating teams effectively.</li> <li>Proven experience in release planning, execution, and management.</li> <li>Proficiency with release management tools for planning, tracking, and deployment.</li> <li>Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with developers, testers, and operations teams.</li> </ul> <strong>Security Requirements:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Australian Citizenship is mandatory.</li> <li>Ability to obtain, or existing, Baseline or NV1 security clearance.</li> </ul> To apply, please click the '<strong>Apply</strong>' button to submit the most recent copy of your resume and cover letter.
