Senior Data Engineer

BLACKROC is working with a fast-growing and purpose-driven organisation. They&rsquo;re investing heavily in cloud technologies and are now seeking a&nbsp;<strong>Senior Data Engineer</strong>&nbsp;to help scale and secure their next-gen data infrastructure using Azure-native services and Databricks.<br> &nbsp;&nbsp;<br> <strong>You will:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Build and maintain scalable pipelines using Databricks, Spark, and Delta</li> <li>Architect secure, reusable APIs with Azure API Management</li> <li>Collaborate with AI and analytics teams to supply clean, validated datasets</li> <li>Apply medallion architecture patterns across data lakes (bronze/silver/gold)</li> <li>Ensure data governance and security standards using Microsoft Purview</li> <li>Use Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Data Factory for integration workflows</li> </ul> <strong>What you&rsquo;ll bring:</strong><br> <ul> <li>7+ years in data engineering or backend development</li> <li>Expert knowledge of Databricks, Spark, and Azure data tools</li> <li>Strong skills in Python, SQL, .NET, and API Management</li> <li>Experience working with streaming data and scalable data architecture</li> <li>Bonus points for Power BI, Azure ML, GraphQL</li> </ul> Please click the 'Apply' button to submit your resume and cover letter.
