Their consumer-directed, self-managed care model enables older Australians to live independently through flexible, personalised care plans.<br> &nbsp;&nbsp;<br>They stand out through their technology-enabled platform, reduced management fees, enhanced client control over care planning, and a focus on innovation. Guided by their core values&mdash;Choice, Excellence, Integrity, Ownership, Innovation, and Wellbeing&mdash; they are preparing for the Support at Home reforms (effective 1 July 2025) and targeting significant growth over the next three to five years.<br> <strong>&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;<br> <strong>The Role:</strong><br> The Business Analyst &ndash; Homecare Product will advance their technology-driven homecare solutions, improving the lives of elderly Australians. This role suits professionals with homecare product experience, offering opportunities to innovate in a fast-growing organisation. The successful candidate will work with clients, aged care providers, and technology teams to develop products that support their self-managed care model, meet regulatory requirements, and align with strategic goals, including AI adoption and Support at Home reforms.<br> &nbsp;&nbsp;<br> <strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br> <ul> <li><strong>Requirements Gathering and Analysis</strong>:</li> <ul> <li>Collaborate with clients, aged care providers, and internal stakeholders to gather and document requirements for homecare products, focusing on user needs and self-managed care.</li> <li>Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to identify ways to enhance care coordination and client outcomes.</li> <li>Translate requirements into clear deliverables, such as user stories, use cases, and process flows, using tools like Jira and Confluence.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Product Development Support</strong>:</li> <ul> <li>Work with product managers, designers, and developers to define platform features that align with consumer-directed care and regulatory standards.</li> <li>Create and maintain documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user acceptance criteria.</li> <li>Support the creation of prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs) to test innovative features, such as AI-driven care coordination tools.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Data Analysis and Insights</strong>:</li> <ul> <li>Analyse data from homecare services, client feedback, and platform usage to identify trends and opportunities for product improvement.</li> <li>Use data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to present insights to stakeholders, supporting their data-driven decisions.</li> <li>Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for client satisfaction, platform adoption, and operational efficiency to guide product enhancements.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Regulatory and Compliance Alignment</strong>:</li> <ul> <li>Ensure homecare products comply with the Aged Care Act 1997, Australian Consumer Law, and, where applicable, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.</li> <li>Stay updated on the Support at Home reforms and other policy changes, aligning product development with Home Care Packages and Commonwealth Home Support Programme requirements.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Stakeholder Collaboration</strong>:</li> <ul> <li>Serve as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and external partners to align on project goals and deliverables.</li> <li>Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with clients and providers to confirm product functionality and usability.</li> <li>Provide training and support to end-users, including homecare workers and administrators, to ensure effective platform adoption.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Innovation and Continuous Improvement</strong>:</li> <ul> <li>Research emerging technologies, such as AI, IoT, and telehealth, to propose features that strengthen their self-managed care model.</li> <li>Contribute to the strategic roadmap under the CEO's leadership, supporting goals like AI implementation and market leadership.</li> <li>Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives) to foster continuous improvement in product development.</li> </ul> </ul> <strong>Essential Skills and Qualifications</strong><br> <ul> <li><strong>Experience</strong>:</li> <ul> <li>Three to five years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with expertise in homecare product development or the aged care/healthcare sector.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, document processes, and support technology-driven product development in complex stakeholder environments.</li> <li>Knowledge of the Australian aged care sector, including Home Care Packages, consumer-directed care, and self-managed care models.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Soft Skills</strong>:</li> <ul> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, including elderly clients and their families.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to tackle homecare delivery challenges.</li> <li>Empathy and cultural sensitivity to address the needs of Australia&rsquo;s diverse ageing population.</li> </ul> </ul> <strong>Desirable Attributes</strong><br> <ul> <li>Passion for empowering elderly Australians through innovative homecare solutions.</li> <li>Experience with AI or technology-driven care coordination platforms.</li> <li>Knowledge of privacy obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 and handling sensitive health information.</li> <li>Ability to excel in a fast-paced, innovative environment aligned with their growth goals.</li> </ul> <strong>Compliance Requirements</strong><br> <ul> <li>Candidates must pass a National Criminal History Check and, where applicable, a Working with Vulnerable People Check.</li> </ul>
