To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in developing and executing comprehensive cloud migration / implementation plans.
- A history of at least one or two successful highly complex on-premises to cloud migrations.
- Expertise in overseeing the end-to-end implementation process without missing a beat on the crucial handoff stage.
- Experience managing the ‘cut-over’ phase and ensuring the cloud environment is implemented seamlessly.
Your Role:
- Design and drive the implementation planning of a complex cloud migration, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal transition.
- Apply your deep understanding of cloud migrations to evaluate processes, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that every application, is transitioned effectively.
- Serve as the linchpin between all stages of the project, guaranteeing a smooth cutover to the new cloud environment.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in cloud migration projects, with a portfolio that includes extensive application migrations.
- Excellent project management skills, with a focus on cloud implementations.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide teams through complex migrations.
