About the Company

Well and truly out of the start-up phase and into the scale-up phase with over $5 million investment at series A, this scaling FinTech is looking for its first Head of Product. They have international reach, with both a B2B and a B2C offering. They have have exciting growth plans for 2022 and are on the lookout for an exceptional addition to the team to help them achieve that vision. They work fully remote from within Australia, with a highly engaged Tech and Product team who will benefit from a Head of Product to take them on the journey to be truly porduct-led. 

About the Role: 

As the new Head of Product, you will be working with the leadership team to develop thier long and short-term product strategy priorities and enable the teams to bring this vision to life through agile methodologies and product best practise. You will actively assessing their strategic choices as the market and business needs evolve and will champion, socialise and evangelise the product strategy and product operations throughout the business, demonstrating positive business and customer outcomes at every opportunity. 

You will grow and lead a team of Product Managers and Product Designers, coaching and empowering them to become product-led operators, being hands-on when necessary to drive the product roadmap, while driving a passionate and considered product culture throughout the business.

What you will do:

• Champion the product vision and strategy that is aligned to the mission, long term business goals & product principles.
• Define and deliver product objectives consistent with the product strategy and that will contribute to achieving the company's growth targets.
• Communicate product vision, strategy and objectives to the company at large, regularly & effectively.
• Identify product opportunities, link them to tangible outcomes and introduce frameworks to assess, prioritise and measure against objectives.
• Implement product management frameworks and processes that are scalable and sustainable.
• Grow and manage a fit-for-purpose multi-disciplinary Product team.
• Hire, develop coach and empower world-class product talent. 

About you: 

• Extensive Product Management leadership experience.
• A proven track record for defining and executing strategies that create real business and customer value in fast-growth companies
• You have strong evidence and can talk to commercial outcomes to show you have scaled a product. 
• You have good instincts matched with deep analytical thinking and the ability to look at problems from a pictured lens while also knowing your data and insights. 
• A passion for raising the bar and continuously driving best practices throughout the company. 
• You are extremely data-led, using both qual. and quant. methods to validate assumptions and drive product and customer outcomes. 
• Influential leadership and interpersonal skills that enable you to communicate and manage relationships across the organisation.
