BLACKROC is currently seeking an ECM Business Analyst to join a government department's based in Carseldine for a 6 Month Contract plus 3 x 12 month extensions. 
  
This role sits within the Information Management (IM) Program, who are committed to enhancing information management capabilities through innovative solutions. This Business Analyst will provide support for the Correspondence Management Project (CMP), aimed at transform their Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system. As a Business Analyst you will assisting in the selection and implementation of a modern ECM solution to replace outdated applications. Collaborating closely with the project team, stakeholders, and business representatives, your responsibilities will include reviewing existing information, developing business process maps, and contributing to the transition to the new ECM solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the analysis efforts to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Create documentation for business and user functional requirements according to project standards and timelines.
  • Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and end users to gather requirements and resolve issues.
  • Conduct research on policies and procedures, evaluate impacts, develop alternatives, and offer recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development of new business proposals, opportunities, and cases.
  • Provide research, analysis, and guidance to the project team.
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary for the project's success.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise-level ICT projects within a large government entity.
  • Prior involvement in Information Management projects with a focus on delivering high-value, quality features and requirements.
  • Strong negotiation abilities and aptitude for fostering agreement among stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
  • Possession of analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
