This industry-leading Australian software business is experiencing a tremendously exciting period of growth and currently looking for someone to lead one of their product development teams.

You'll be joining a group of developers, marketers, product thinkers, and sales experts in owning a revolutionary workflow automation and digitization SaaS product.

As the development team lead, your primary responsibility is to the people you support. Your efforts will be focused on ensuring that they're growing as developers, are finding success in delivering valuable work and generally enjoying the time they spend working. You'll also represent the development team in leadership meetings to plan roadmaps, ensure consistency and clarity of expectations and introduce ideas.

What you'll be doing
  • Helping the development team manage projects and roadmaps against release targets.
  • Participating in technical, design and product discussions with other leaders across the organisation.
  • Translating organisational goals into discrete and achievable goals for the team and yourself.
  • Advocating for and advancing modern software development practices.
What you'll ideally have
  • Experience building and leading a team of happy and high-performing software developers.
  • A history of collaborating with multiple stakeholders to develop roadmaps and working towards them.
  • A background in .NET development and familiarity with the modern Microsoft ecosystem.
  • The ability to keep your ego in check - your prime directive is to put your team's success first.
What you'll get in return
  • Remote-first working culture with a Brisbane CBD-based office available to you when you want it.
  • Competitive remuneration.
If you have an active GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket or Stack Overflow profile include a link because I want to see it!
