Product Owner - Mobile Apps.

They are now looking for a Product Owner to join a brand new team, leading the development of their new mobile app solution to service every aspect of the business and multiple customer touch points.  

About the Role:

As Product Owner, you will lead the development of a greenfield mobile solution, working as part of a new, dedicated and collaborative team to define, develop and bring it to market. You will have full ownership of the initiative, managing the feature roadmap in line with the business strategy, and articulating the business requirements and the needs of the end-users to the Agile development team. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Head of Innovation to drive the new mobile strategy for the business
• Be the champion of the mobile app, evangelising a mobile customer experience within the wider business
• Shape the direction of the mobile app, and enhance the value it provides to customers and stakeholders in a highly competitive industry
• Achieve specific business performance outcomes through the design and delivery of customer and business-focused mobile experiences
• Bring your strong UX sense to create a mobile app that is functional, intuitive, simple and elegant
• Work with a high volume of customers (over 1 million) and multiple data points, to ensure your decisions are data-driven
• Engage with senior business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet a complex set of business requirements
• Be up to date on the market and new trends in mobile technology to identify new opportunities for differentiation
• Work alongside a dedicated team to produce requirements, stories and tasks for your delivery team
• Be responsible for approval of features alongside the Testing team and the broader business before release to customers.
•  Demonstrate execution excellence in Agile methodology and actively participate and facilitate ceremonies.

About You:

• 2+ years of Agile experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
• Experience managing and developing mobile applications is essential
• Proven experience in product development and ownership – led by customers and delivered in an Agile methodology
• You are data-driven in decision-making and comfortable with monitoring analytics 
• Derive insights from how products perform and determine the future path of iterative improvement
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and make effective sound decisions 
• The ability to bring a team together and keep them engaged and focused whilst inspiring vision and purpose 
• You love optimising workflows, and improving the user experience all while achieving business growth
• Managing priorities between customer needs, team velocity, user experience, and internal stakeholder requirements
• You are outcome-driven and are relentlessly passionate about Product Ownership, delivery and / or discovery.
