BLACKROC are working with an exciting internationally recognised consultancy looking for a technical helpdesk engineer with experience maintaining systems, meeting KPIs and SLAs, and reporting the status internally and to clients.
Work alongside a medium size support team in a company providing proprietary solutions in Transport and Defence markets, all while building long-term relationships with stakeholders and working with key decision makers for technological decisions.
This contract is on a 9 month term, with renewal extensions of 3 months each. Then if successful this candidate will be hired permanently as full time employee.
The role is aimed at those who are keen to be a part of a vibrant team focusing on all important IT support aspects of the role. You will be the direct contact for any assistance and have the ability to grow your skillset and experience.

The perfect candidate will:
- Have some experience maintaining systems, meeting KPIs and SLAs, and reporting the status internally and to our client. Have contractual awareness.
- Have some experience with MAXIMO at a user level, managing service requests, reviewing preventive and corrective tasks.
- Be able to follow up and track defects, resolution times and fixes with our technical team.
- Technical background in IT systems, Windows server, DB, Networking will be a plus, also some knowledge about traffic management systems will be positive.
- Proactive attitude in problem solving, flexible and ready to learn new things, good social skills with clients.
- Experience in help desk support
- Experience with
- Minimum of 2 years experience managing MS Exchange, SharePoint and Teams
- Ability to work autonomously
