Technical Business Analyst.

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Senior Technical Business Analyst with IT Controls experience to join an organisation in the insurance sector going through a Cloud Enablement Program. 

This is an initial 6 month contract with possible extensions. 

Their Cloud Enablement Program is a key component of their broader Digital Transformation initiative, designed to move their IT infrastructure to the cloud.

This transition aims to make their organisation more secure, resilient, and innovative.

To be considered for this role you must have: 

• ▪ A solid track record with 10+ years as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably with exposure to banking, financial services, insurance, or related sectors.
  ▪ Ability to review control gap remediation recommendations and demonstrated experience translating them into high-quality SMART Acceptance Criteria.
  ▪ Exceptional stakeholder engagement, verbal and written communication skills.
  ▪ Any knowledge of IT Controls such as ITGC, CCM, CIS, etc, or experience with Cloud Enablement, or data centre projects would be highly regarded.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills/experience:

• Ability to review control gap remediation recommendations and develop high quality acceptance criteria
• An excellent technical understanding of AWS cloud, Cybersecurity, Data and Identity Management
• A thorough understanding of operational processes including Identity Management, Monitoring & Logging, Service Management, Business Continuity Planning, and testing
• Jira and Confluence
• Excellent organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills
• Great interpersonal skills, being able to build working relationships within a diverse team 
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver results
