Tech Lead or EM - Vue/Node/TypeScript/GCP.

BLACKROC has partnered with a Sydney based company to find a Tech Lead/Engineering Manager. This company has strong fundamentals and foundations. This is a great opportunity to lead, mentor, and collaborate on an interesting product that has an important B2C use. They're in a perpetual state of strong growth due to the demand for the product, therefore, they're looking to expand the team. 

The ideal candidate has Tech Lead or EM experience that is willing to be hands on with coding and making architectural decisions. Ideally a fullstack developer with Vue/Node/GCP. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Make architectural decisions and provide technical expertise to ensure the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our software solutions.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO, another EM, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software.
• Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and agile methodologies within the development team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Vue.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and leverage them to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Extensive experience in software development, with a strong background in Vue.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and GCP.
• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and experience in delivering projects on time and within budget.
