Site Reliability Engineer.

BLACKROC is pleased to be working alongside a Brisbane based SaaS company which has undergone tremendous growth over the last 3 years. As they head into the next stage of their digital transformation, they are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. 

The core purpose of this role will be to help maintain and automate the platform for their customers who are still on-prem, with the goal being to migrate these customers to AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Automating the provisioning of dev, test, staging and production environments across private and public cloud providers
• Maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines capable of managing platform, application, configuration, credential and data store elements
• Analysing and improving the reliability of systems in production, diagnosing issues, and working with developers to improve product resilience and performance
• Collaborating with other SREs to identify and evaluate technology, tooling, and process improvements to improve quality and commercial outcomes
  

Experience: 

• 3+ years experience working in a SaaS environment that utilises DevOps and SRE Practices
• Proven experience working with Windows, Linux and AWS
• Knowledge of implementing IaC and CI/CD to manage virtual infrastructure and cloud-native applications 
• Prior experience with related languages such as C#/.NET Core, Powershell and Terraform
