SharePoint Online Technical Specialist.

About the Role:
  
BLACKROC Recruitment are working closely with a QLD Government Agency who are seeking a skilled Technical Specialist to lead their SharePoint to Cloud Project. This pivotal role focuses on migrating our existing SharePoint 2016 content, including the Agency’s intranet, to SharePoint Online. This is a business-driven project emphasising environment configuration, design, and implementation of new architecture and enhanced user experience.
  
Key Responsibilities:

Development & Configuration:

• Configure SharePoint Online, including Sites, page templates, Term Store, web parts, forms, and workflows.
• Implement a modern intranet on SharePoint Online.

Testing & Support:

• Conduct performance and integration testing.
• Support CI/CD Azure DevOps Pipelines and monitor GitHub actions.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:

• Prepare documentation for technical solutions, processes, and activities.
• Transfer knowledge to internal technical support teams.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work closely with the implementation vendor and both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with internal requirements in an agile environment for successful project delivery.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Proven experience in migrations to SharePoint Online.
• Extensive experience in designing, creating, and supporting PowerApps and Power Platform technical solutions.
• Proficiency in building forms and workflows in SharePoint Online.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SaaS-based technologies.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to engage with a diverse group of stakeholders in an agile environment such as Scrum.
