Senior Web/UI Designer.

BLACKROC are seeking a strong Web/UI Designer to join one of Brisbane's largest and leading Digital Agencies. Drive design for internationally recognised brands, while working across all 3 of the company's digital agencies. You'll be working out of their modern office with direct views of the Story Bridge, Conveniently located in the CBD and surrounded by cafes, gyms, carparking and minutes from public transport. 

The role:

You will be working on a variety of projects from huge established international  brands to smaller projects that will allow your creative freedom to flow. You will be responsible for all things Design across all devices and collaborate closely with the large development team. In addition to working with a multitude of external clients, you will also be a fundamental key in upgrading and rebranding across all 3 of the company's agencies. 

Responsibilities: 

• Responsive design and the creation of digital design assets that knock competitors out of the park.
• You will take projects from briefing to launch with a contemporary design aesthetic.
• Design for mobile-first with a large number of sites having an eCommerce capability.  
• Work alongside the development team to implement your designs to the highest standard, while providing accurate estimates throughout.
• Work to browser standards and limitations. 
• Use the full Creative Adobe Suite, particularly Adobe XD.
• Liase with external stake holders.
• Adhere to big corporation style guidelines.

The ideal candidate: 

You have a sharp eye for design and creative mind, and you're excited about being involved in the entire design process from understanding a concept, bringing it to life with high quality designs and presenting your work to the clients with a strong sense of ownership and passion. 

• 3+ years’ experience in Web / Digital / UI Design.
• You have a strong visual portfolio that is cutting edge, modern, and a reflection of your high quality website design capabilities.  
• You are passionate about digital and eCommerce experiences, creating innovative websites that are elegant, functional and visually pleasing for the user. 
• Agency-side experience will be highly regarded.
• knowledge of online conversion principles, and good user-interface-design for business websites.
• The ability to back your design decisions while also being able to take candid feedback.
• Expertise of the Adobe Creative Suite.
• You live and breathe design and in your spare time you may even take on UI challenges as you just can't get enough!
