BLACKROC is excited to be working with a well-established local Gold Coast business as they search for a Senior IT Technician to join their team. Joining a team of 6, this role would suit someone who values an opportunity where they can blend a varied technical role with lifestyle and an excellent workplace culture. With an average tenure of 5+ years within the team, this role is unique in market.
Their ideal candidate is someone experienced (4+ years) across a variety of technologies. You will be focused mostly on project work but is happy to pitch in and help other parts of the team where necessary, such as assisting as an escalation point for the Service Desk.
You will work on supporting their internal team as well as a variety of SMB clients, giving you a blend of working within an internal team but working on an array of technologies and assorted technical problems. There is minimal on-call work (occasional patching/upgrades).
In terms of technologies typically worked on by the business, it is primarily: Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Hyper-V, Windows Servers, NBN, VoIP, General Network management and security. Don't be put off if you don't have experience with all of these technologies, they value culture fit and attitude first and foremost and will consider all experienced candidates.
This role is predominantly on-site in their Gold Coast office and are happy to discuss flexibility on a case by case basis. They offer quarterly bonuses (team based), regular team events and a supportive, collaborative environment.
