Public Key Infrastructure Engineers.

A major federal government department that stands apart for the positive impact it makes on thousands of Australians is currently seeking 2x Workforce PKI Engineers and 2x Customer PKI Engineers.  These positions are responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions within an Azure and AWS Cloud environment. The PKI Engineers collaborates closely with stakeholders to ensure that PKI solutions align with security standards, and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions, including certificate authorities (CAs), digital certificates, and cryptographic key management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective PKI configurations.
• Configure and manage PKI components, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and security best practices.
• Optimise PKI solutions for scalability, performance, and security, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Experience:

• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Extensive experience as a subject matter expert with industry leading PKI products and platforms, such as Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS), Entrust, GlobalSign, or equivalent, is highly desirable.
• Experience in designing or implementing in a Cloud environment such as Azure or AWS.
