BLACKROC are pleased to be working alongside this government organisation, which is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of the new operating model for their Customer Services Branch. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring successful project delivery in collaboration with their Principal Change and Communication Advisor.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Planning and coordinating project activities and resources to achieve the desired outcomes within the allocated budget and timeframes.
  • Producing project documentation in accordance with policies and procedures, following Agile and MSP governance frameworks.
  • Establishing and maintaining appropriate project governance and assurance activities.
  • Collaborating closely with the Change & Communication Advisor to implement communication plans, organisational change management plans, and benefit realisation plans.
  • Liaising with various stakeholders, including Project Executives, Project Board Members, Senior Users, Senior Suppliers, Senior Management, and other Project Managers within CSB.
  • Providing effective management of risks, issues, conflicts, change requests, and priorities.
  • Managing project budget, finances, resource allocations, and schedules.
  • Offering direction and support to the project team.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting on project progress to all stakeholders.
  • Conducting project administration activities in alignment with internal governance and compliance practices.
About you:
  • Proven experience in successfully delivering projects or technical work packages within an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with complex agile projects and recent experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, particularly Agile and MSP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage risks, issues, and conflicts effectively.
  • Experience in public and private sector projects is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with governance review and human capital projects is an advantage.
