BLACKROC are excited to be partnering with an iconic Australian software company to help hire a Lead Software Engineer.
This is a hands on role with a broad scope of influence across multiple other teams - you'll be focused on building and maintaining front end component libraries, ensuring that other engineers are well equipped and confident to deliver new features and products. You'll also have a chance to work directly with engineering teams and designers to envision and create new solutions that enable their success and solve problems.
We're looking for someone with in-depth experience with large TypeScript codebases and familiarity with owning and maintaining extensive React component libraries over time. You'll also need to have an interest in collaborating closely with engineers and designers, acting as a force multiplier and roadblock remover for others.
The ideal candidate would be working in a front-end focused team, utilising Typescript and React and working in a lead capacity. It doesn't matter how small or large your team is.
