Iteration Manager.

BLACKROC is currently seeking an Iteration Manager to join an esteemed retail company and embark on an exciting career journey. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the Scrum process, making significant contributions to the development and implementation of various projects. Working closely with the Product Manager and development team, you will be instrumental in delivering complex digital solutions and products that cater to our valued customers' needs.

As a Senior Iteration Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of valuable outcomes to stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on empowering, guiding, and mentoring teams to foster their success. Additionally, you will keep the team in motion by maintaining constant communication about progress, recognising achievements, and addressing and resolving any obstacles that may arise.

Responsibilities

In this role as a Senior Iteration Manager, you will take on a range of responsibilities to drive success and achieve valuable outcomes:

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and  leading the team towards delivering technical value.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Delivery Lead to successfully deliver initiatives and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
• Champion Agile processes within the team, constantly seeking opportunities for improvement
• Build strong and trusted relationships with business and customer groups, as well as within the squad
• Take the lead in developing, monitoring, and communicating team reporting and metrics
• Manage operational and project risks to ensure smooth project execution.
• Continuously invest in your professional development as an Iteration Manager, actively seeking opportunities to learn and grow.
• Actively participate and contribute to agile practices, bringing your expertise to the table and collaborating with the team for success.

About you

• Minimum of 4 years experience as an Iteration Manager or similar role
• Strong understanding and implementation of Agile Methodology
• Experience in Product and Project Management
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects/squads.
