BLACKROC is currently collaborating with a government-owned organisation, a distinguished leader in the provision of workers' compensation insurance in Queensland for over two decades, to identify their next Business Analyst Manager.
This leadership role falls within the purview of Experience Insights and Design, entailing the oversight of a team of specialised IT business analysts, fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the alignment of IT solutions with strategic business objectives. The central emphasis of this role lies in spearheading digital transformation initiatives and catalysing the modernisation of our organisation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Guide, mentor, and oversee a team of IT Business Analysts, nurturing a culture of cooperation, development, and excellence.
- Establish explicit objectives and standards for the team, delivering regular feedback and conducting performance assessments.
- Cultivate a united and collaborative atmosphere among IT Business Analyst teams, ensuring smooth coordination of tasks and resources.
- Promote the exchange of knowledge, cross-functional learning, and the adoption of best practices.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to comprehend digital transformation goals and align IT endeavours accordingly.
- Supervise the provision of analytical services by coordinating IT Business Analyst resources on digital transformation projects.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement within the Business Analysis practice.
- Devise inventive digital solutions that fulfils business requisites and supervise their execution.
- Contribute to the creation of business cases, requirement documents, and agile Requirement Management approaches.
- A tertiary qualification in IT/ICT is advantageous.
- Over 10 years of experience in Business Analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding a team of Business Analysts.
- Proven track record as a Business Analyst in an IT setting, emphasising digital transformation.
- Proficiency in ITIL and Agile environments.
