We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Replacement Project within a large Queensland government organisation. <br><br>This is a critical initiative involving the transition from a legacy SAP HANA–based environment to a modern cloud-based data platform.<br><br>You will lead the end-to-end delivery of this transition while ensuring the organisation’s data and analytics capability remains stable, available and high-performing throughout.<br><br><br> <strong>As the EDW Replacement Project Manager, you will:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Lead and manage the project within established PMO frameworks and methodologies</li> <li>Develop detailed project plans, quality plans, schedules and resourcing profiles</li> <li>Engage, influence and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders</li> <li>Prepare and present project updates to senior executives and steering groups</li> <li>Manage delivery against scope, budget, timeline and quality metrics</li> <li>Ensure alignment with broader portfolio objectives and enterprise priorities</li> <li>Work closely with PMO, governance committees and delivery partners</li> <li>Oversee vendor management and ensure clear accountability</li> <li>Support knowledge transfer, documentation, and handover to internal teams</li> </ul> <br> <strong>To be successful, you will bring</strong>:<br> <ul> <li>Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills</li> <li>Experience delivering complex data or analytics transformation projects</li> <li>Experience implementing Azure or Databricks-based data platforms (highly desirable)</li> <li>Sound understanding of data strategy, governance and operating models</li> <li>Experience developing and delivering data management plans</li> <li>Experience managing vendors and third-party data provider agreements</li> <li>Understanding of data privacy considerations and relevant assessment processes</li> <li>Strong capability in producing high-quality project artefacts and reports</li> <li>Experience planning, monitoring and controlling large ICT/digital projects</li> <li>Familiarity with government project assurance processes</li> <li>Expertise in project management frameworks (e.g., PRINCE2)</li> <li>Ability to work effectively across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery models</li> </ul> <br> To apply please send your resume by following the links below or contact Nat at BLACKROC on natalie@blackroc.co
