<strong>Location:</strong> Brisbane (1 day WFH per week)<br> BLACKROC is proud to be partnering with a large scale client for a Director, Security Standards<strong> </strong>on a short-term contract through to March 2026.<br> <br> <strong>Role Purpose</strong><br> This senior leadership role is responsible for establishing and leading a new Security Standards Unit that will shape security, electronic security, and operational technology governance across high-risk environments.<br> <br> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br> <ul> <li>Lead the Security Standards Unit and build a high-performing team</li> <li>Develop governance frameworks, protective security policies, and OT cyber standards</li> <li>Drive cyber security attestation and risk frameworks for critical systems</li> <li>Establish infrastructure design standards for security-critical facilities</li> <li>Represent the organisation in working groups and committees</li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams on upgrades, maintenance, and security projects</li> </ul> <br> <strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong><br> <ul> <li>Extensive experience with complex electronic security systems in high-risk environments</li> <li>Senior leadership experience building teams</li> <li>Strong background in security governance, OT cyber, and high-risk operations</li> <li>Proven ability to lead major technology or infrastructure programs</li> <li>Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills</li> </ul> <br> <strong>Highly Desirable</strong><br> <ul> <li>Degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering</li> <li>PLC/automation or cyber certifications</li> <li>Project management qualifications</li> </ul> <br> Please click the 'Apply' button to submit your resume.
