Technical Writer.

BLACKROC is currently searching for a Technical Writer to join a leading global team working to solve complex challenges across the aviation space.


About the role:

As a Technical Writer, you will work closely with the development team to produce quality documentation for internal and external audiences. With a background in ICT technical documentation, you will be able to take complex information and product documents in layman's terms.


Responsibilities: 

• Produce high-quality documentation for both internal and external audiences, including customers. (e.g. technical support and training documentation).
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements for application documentation.
• Review and analyse technical and product information from various sources and document them accordingly.
• Write, format, edit, review and proofread the documentation and technical information for technical and non-technical users.

About you:

• 3+ years of experience working in a technical communication position within a software development organisation.
• Proven experience in the preparation, review and maintenance of ICT technical documentation, including, software end-user documentation, release notes, business process mapping and technical overviews.
• Well developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of modelling techniques, including BPMN, UML and database modelling. 
• Experience working with a global team would be prefered.
