Senior Systems Engineer - Contract - Up to $750 p/d.

This is a full time 12 month contract for professionals based in Canberra, offering up to $750 per day.

BLACKROC has partnered with an Australian government organisation, looking to grow their Infrastructure Support team who are responsible for the design, delivery and maintenance of their infrastructure platforms for internal and external clients. 

You will work as an experienced Senior within of talented team of Systems Engineers, focusing on managing all the management and monitoring of several user environments. This space will see you working on technical projects and improvements across the IT department, while coordinating with the CTO and Infrastructure Manager. 

You will:

• Lead the development and maintenance of the agencies systems.
• Communicate, build and maintain effective working relationships internal staff and managers.
• Work on the implementation of technical management changes and activities.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the organisations operations.
• Investigate and solve complex technical problems assigned to the team.

Experience/Skills you’ll ideally have:

• 5+ years as a Senior Systems Engineer
• Demonstrated experience working with project design and deployment experience.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, WSUS, PowerShell
• Experience with Office365 technologies including Microsoft Intune, MDM and Autopilot

Bonus if you have experience with:

• Print Management software and platforms

Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience leading teams
• Must be Australia Citizen
• The ability to obtain an NV1 Clearance
