Senior Systems Administrator.

BLACKROC has an exciting Australian Born client who are currently searching for a Senior Systems Administrator to join their dynamic IT team in Sydney.

Due to internal promotions this role is available for a career driven IT enthusiast skilled to wear multiple hats and take challenges head on.

This opportunity suits someone looking to take the next stage in their career with a view to grow into a more Cloud and Development based career path.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Assist with the improvement of the Kubernetes environment
• Implementing and maintaining service integrations, frameworks, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, monitoring tools, DevOps and cloud services.
• Development and execution of scripts to support environments  
• Automating tasks and adding towards continuous improvement

Necessary skills and experience:  

• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, Office 365, Azure AD, MS SQL server
• Experience in routing, switching, and general networking equipment (eg. Cisco Catalyst, HP Procurve/Aruba, pfSense)
• Previous exposure to development tools such as logging & monitoring (Elastic, Logstash etc) as well as deploying of software (e.g. TeamCity, Octopus, Spinnaker)
• Experience with cloud services such as infrastructure, e.g. AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform is an advantage.
• Good understanding of Bash & PowerShell scripting.
