BLACKROC is excited to partner with a growing organisation looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to advise enterprise clients and prospects on the best way forward when it comes to delivering innovative, secure and scalable cloud solutions based on the Amazon Web Services platform.
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will act as a technical lead driving conversations with clients during the sales cycle, guide engineers during the implementation phase, work with 3rd party vendors to complete solutions end to end, and deliver feedback to stakeholders to drive cloud productivity across the business.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will act as a technical lead driving conversations with clients during the sales cycle, guide engineers during the implementation phase, work with 3rd party vendors to complete solutions end to end, and deliver feedback to stakeholders to drive cloud productivity across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership to fellow architects, partners and developers in a cross-functional way to engage both project and enterprise-level initiatives.
- Mentor, guide, coach, and support individual technical skill and growth across the architecture team and the organisation at large.
- Ensure success in designing, migrating, and deploying our products and services with strategic clients.
- Collaborate internally with engineering and leadership teams as the product advocate to help prioritize existing gaps, features and product strategies.
- Build deep client relationships with senior technical and non-technical individuals, by understanding how to appeal to both types of people.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical, cloud focused role
- Advanced DevOps skills in continuous deployment configurations with Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS tools like CloudFormation
Cloud certified or demonstrated cloud skills (AWS) along with practical experience in performance and security - Ability to liaise with stakeholders and drive innovative decisions
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
