Senior Product Designer.

BLACKROC are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join this Global scaling product-led FinTech company. This business is a driving force behind empowerment and education around the importance of financial investment and wellness. Role:

You will be working alongside the Product manager and Engineer team to deliver the company's greenfield product. As a Product Designer you'll have the opportunity to own the whole design process, while utilising your user experience to optimize and drive product growth.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product manager and engineers to turn this into workflows as well as select, design and/or refine UI elements used through the application.
• Develop sketches, wire-frames and interactive models to prototype and test solutions.
• Design dynamic user interface elements, like menus, images. tabs and widgets.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps and conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Develop and maintain a design library and style guide.
• Conduct usability testing, research and validate. 
• Champion Design and drive product development for shipment.  
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. mobile responsiveness)

About:

• 4+ years experience in Product Design or a UI/UX role.
• You love solving problems through design and can communicate your ideas with sketches, journey maps, wireframes, screen flows and rapid prototypes.
• You can understand & identify user requirements through interviews, user testing, contextual inquiries and data analysis. 
• You can create clear and friendly user interfaces and have a portfolio to showcase your work.
• You are adaptable and knowledgeable and are prepared to be the Thought Leader of design best practices.
• You are good at communicating design decisions clearly. You will be able to present and back your Design decisions with confidence.
• You love working in end-to-end Product Design: one day you'll be researching and analysing, another day you'll be prototyping, engaging directly with the customer and then doing pixel-perfect UI design. 
• Experience in a test-driven environment (A/B testing) and the ability to employ qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights that help inform design direction. 
• Proficient in Figma and After Effects.
