Senior IdAM Engineer.

BLACKROC is looking for a Senior IdAM Engineer to join a well rounded large federal government department that has an important value to the wider Australian community. This department in the government is highly regarded and is working with cutting edge technology in both AWS and Azure. They are in the early stages of rolling out SailPoint IIQ across their network.

As this is a senior engineer role, we will be looking for someone that has strong soft skills and can lead tasks and continued enhancement with minimal to no direction.

• Clear written skills with strong grammar
• A history of writing infrastructure and application design documentation, including using tools like Visio for visual workflow diagrams
• Can read and understand architectural documentation, aligning business and executive requirements with technical outcomes in IdAM
• The ability to plan IdAM requirements with minimal information, ensuring the best outcome for NDIA business. This may mean engaging stakeholders to source more detail, or propose how something should be done and gain approval for it
• Can lead project work. This includes small tasks for continued BAU important, all the way to coordinating project actives for a larger business wide strategic goal that has IdAM as a key stakeholder
• Potentially manage a small team of staff to achieve goals
• Create, priorities, organize tasks within the JIRA platform
• Report on project activities and work with the leadership team to re-priorities and shift activities
• Requires great collaboration skills. For example, they will be required to work closely with the IDAM Operations team to continually improve the support and services we provide
• As the Snr Engineer, they will need to be able to tackle difficult problems with minimal guidance

Majority of these are desirable and not required, as there is a lot of overlap. Someone that has skills in a  similar stack would still be considered.
SailPoint IIQ is highly desirable as it will be our primary IdAM provisioning system, and we are mid-way through a large project that this position will be heavily involved in.
