Senior Data Analyst.

BLACKROC are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join a team in the education industry. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will provide specialist data analysis skills to uncover insights and develop solutions to support business goals. You will be responsible for collecting, analysing and interpreting data from various sources, using advanced statistical and analytical methods. You will also communicate your findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management, using clear and compelling visualisations and reports. You will mentor and support team members where needed and collaborate with other teams on cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyse and interpret data from various sources, using advanced statistical and analytical methods
• Provide specialist data analysis skills to uncover insights and develop solutions to support business goals
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management, using clear and compelling visualisations and reports
• Mentor and support team members where needed
• Collaborate with other teams on cross-functional projects

Requirements:

• Fluent in one or more programming languages (Python, R, SQL)
• Demonstrate a very high level of structured thinking and problem solving
• Takes ownership for decisions made in direct area of responsibility
• Understand the business environment, industry trend, customer needs, competitor behaviour, and market dynamics
• Have a deep understanding of the industry or domain they are working in, formulating relevant and meaningful questions, as well as provide context and interpretation for their results
• Demonstrate sound judgement when making complex decisions through utilisation of technical knowledge and expertise
