Project Manager.

BLACKROC is currently partnered with a high-profile Brisbane organisation who is seeking an Agile Project Manager to oversee technical teams and ensure the successful delivery of software and/or services projects to customers. The Agile Project Manager will work closely with both customers and Project technical Leads to develop and maintain project plans and schedules, as well as identify and manage project risks and resolve issues as they arise. They will also be responsible for aligning the project delivery framework/methodology and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as leading delivery teams and managing dependencies, risks, and barriers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery of digital products and understanding of agile principles and practices
• Provide leadership and direct teams in the delivery of high-quality services within committed time frames 
• Resolve project issues in conjunction with project teams and customers
• Ensure that software projects are delivered in the appropriate release
• Develop friendly and professional relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Facilitate initiatives to improve business systems and project risk management
• Actively pursue professional development opportunities and share knowledge gained with other staff members
• Understand customer/user journeys and identify ways to test and prove new products, tools, and feature concepts.
• Ensure that project documentation is created and is maintained
• Plan and execute Agile/Scrum methodology for software development

Essential Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding and Experience in leading agile teams 
• Strong understanding of Product Development
• At least 5 years' experience managing technical project teams (experience managing large, multi-stakeholder projects will be highly regarded)
