Role:
Working closely with the CPO you will own, research, and ideate through to testing the build and release of new and updated software products.
Responsibilities
- Drive the delivery of new products and features to keep the product set relevant and competitive.
- Execute the product roadmap across both new and existing product verticals.
- Ensure that new features and functionality are in alignment with the strategic vision and solve real business problems for customers.
- Perform market and customer analysis to test new market and product opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders across functions including sales, marketing, consulting, support and development teams.
- Support the customer-facing teams and provide regular product updates, product training, and documentation.
- Work closely with the development team to groom and then separately prioritise backlog items.
- Regular reporting and communications on product delivery and backlog management to CPO and the broader business.
- Co-ordinate the release of go-to-market strategies when launching a new product or feature.
- 3+ years experience in software product management, preferably in a fast-paced SaaS business.
- Demonstrated ability to manage product roadmaps.
- Experience in agile software development methodologies.
- Experience in working closely with developers and the ability to communicate at a technical level as well as to those in the wider business who are less technical.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
- You have strong commercial nouse to achieve business goals and grow revenue-driving products.
- Excellent initiative and problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
- You are a clear communicator of product decisions and the rationale behind them.
