Principal Solutions Architect.

BLACKROC is excited to be working with one of Australia's leaders in risk management, security, software development and logistics support, working alongside some of Australia's biggest organisations. As the Lead Solutions Architect, you will assist with all requirements across the entire software development lifecycle, including research, design, testing, and deployment.

Managing products that thousands of Australians use everyday means you will work cohesively with the  technology team to create an efficient and accessible customer experience. The objective is to streamline work flows and help clients and customers engage easily with a range of products and services.

The Role:

• Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it
• Work within the broad AWS cloud strategy within multiple customers
• Provide architectural design input into cloud solutions
• Delegate duties and tasks within the IT department
• Build deep client relationships with senior technical and non-technical individuals

The Requirements:

• Demonstrated leadership with development teams that provided expert-level knowledge of software development 
• Cloud certified or demonstrated cloud skills (AWS) along with practical experience in performance and security
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (e.g. AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, Amazon ECS, Amazon DynamoDB, AWS Kinesis etc.)
• In-depth understanding of coding languages (Java, JavaScript). 
• Strong client facing and consulting experience
• Influencing senior stakeholder and working in large complex enterprise environments
