Level 3 Systems Engineer.

Our exciting client is currently searching for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their dynamic IT team here in Brisbane. This role will expose you to technical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and allow you to wear multiple hats to keep things interesting. As a Senior, you will provide support to other business units, including business development and technical leadership.

Primarily you will providing technical guidance and support for their operational and software platforms and you will work alongside the companies highly skilled developers and network engineers to streamline all processes. 

This opportunity suits someone looking to take the next stage in their career with a view to grow into a Lead Systems Engineer.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Perform analysis, research, and take corrective action as needed to resolve 3rd tier incidents, requests, problems, and escalations from lower tiers of support. 
• Contribute the provision of all services offered by the Engineering Services team
• Assisting, liaising and reporting efficient project delivery
• Advise and mentor junior Engineering Services team members, as appropriate

Necessary skills and experience:  

• Proficient with SQL, Elasticsearch or other data storage solutions
  Experience across Microsoft and Windows environments;
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SAML/SSO, SaaS apps
• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5-7 years of hands-on work experience
• Understanding and/or experience with client-server applications, virtualisation and IP data communications principle
