Linux DevOps Engineer.

BLACKROC is excited to be partnering with a market leader in their sector, who are achieving year on year growth and who are now looking for a passionate AWS DevOps Engineer with Linux experience to join the growing team of innovative and fun tech gurus in the infrastructure team. You will play an integral role in utilising the best technologies in the market to build and run the ecosystem responsible for delivering services to the internal and external customer bases.

What you'll be doing

• Problem solve and innovate new ways to automate and streamline regular tasks
• Perform DevOps engineering and security tasks in AWS
• Work with Development teams to streamline their daily workflows as well as supporting developers with issues that may arise
• Regularly implement projects to streamline DevOps and keep the stack secure, efficient and up to date
• Ensure the websites stay fast and responsive under load day and night and providing problem analysis as part of continuous improvement

What you'll need

• Experience programming or sculpting particularly with Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins and AWS 
• Good knowledge and experience in application deployment (CI/CD)
• Experience with automation and configuration management
• Experience in source control technologies such as Git
• Excellent technical problem solving skills
