BLACKROC Software Engineering are excited to bring this extraordinary opportunity to the Brisbane market. 

Working alongside a cross-functional team, you'll be responsible for the ongoing development and improvement of a global technology platform. As part of this team, you'll help shape technology strategy and policy, influence engineering culture and conduct R&D to ensure scalability and reliability of the platform.

What you'll be doing

• Building new services and frameworks suitable for web-scale applications
• Contributing to discussions and providing assistance to product development teams when the opportunity arises to unblock others
• Running development processes in line with TDD practices
• Conducting code reviews

What you'll ideally have

• Experience with building and breaking .NET Core applications
• Experience developing software for a cloud-native environment 
• An interest in conducting postmortems on technical mistakes and learning from them
• Familiarity with modern software development best practices like SOLID and TDD
