Over the past five years, they have taken the market by storm and have multiple products that solve real problems in the business and learning space. They have global offices and their products are used by a large, impressive, and growing global client base.  

Role:

This role is working across five products, within three product verticals at different stages of their life-cycle. Reporting to the CEO and Founders, this is a business-critical role, at the C-level with global reach. As the CPO you will foster a culture of learning and best practice and be a positive driving-force for modern and best-in-class product operations. You will lead the Product Managers who lead the product tribes to deliver the business strategy and product vision. 

Responsibilities: 

Working across the three product verticals and multiple product offerings you will be critical in driving the platform vision for this SaaS business. You will lead and drive all product suites in terms of strategy, prioritisation, planning, stakeholder communication, and reporting and have an amazing ability to quickly adapt, learn and become an expert and voice of truth for your products. You will know the business opportunities, competitors, customer pain points, and technical details about each product.
  • Define the product strategies within the overall business vision and objectives.           
  • Lead your Product teams to create and implement best practice processes and procedures and product operations. 
  • Be the Chief Coach, providing people leadership and evidence-based coaching to your Product team. 
  • Develop individual stream product strategies that align to the  platform and overall business vision and goals that are underpinned by customer / user feedback and other market / competitor and data sources.              
  • Work with SME's and Tech teams to assess viability, desirability, and feasibility.
  • Be an advocate and voice for the user, collaborating with your team of UX Designers to understand and promote usability. 
  • Align your product teams to deliver detailed product roadmaps that consider delivery priorities, resource requirements, and feature stack rankings.      
  • Provide regular and critical roadmap updates, risk and issues consolidation, and resourcing restraints.
  • Be responsible for the commercial outcome of your products. 
About You: 
  • You have 10+ years of experience in Product Management with a minimum of two years proven experience in a VP Product / CPO role managing multiple products / teams at the one time with changing and competing priorities. 
  • Proven track record of scaling multiple B2B SaaS products with the ability to drive growth by balancing customer feedback, market analysis and competitor analyses with business needs.
  • Proven experience maintaining alignment between business strategy, product vision, and the commercial constraints under which the organisation operates.
  • You have a penchant for product best practice across both discovery and delivery (CI/CD) and are an advocate of modern ways of working. 
  • You are a strategic thinker with the ability to take data from multiple sources to solve complex problems.
  • Experience in managing people leaders and Product teams to foster a positive learning culture of collaboration and driving high performance in a high-growth environment.
  • Recognising that the key to success is to work through others, and you have a track record of supporting, enabling and empowering leaders. 
  • While you are at the strategy level, you are able to work in the detail, using your entrepreneurial mindset to drive results and outcomes. 
  • You can articulate the measures of success that you have implemented in the past and have proven evidence and results that show growth and scale. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, across all levels with the ability to influence and socialise the product strategy and evangelise product principles. 
  • Must be equally skilled at communicating technical details, and will be able to concisely communicate complex concepts, apply analytical rigour, and understand the power of simplicity, data, and strategy.
