An organisation in financial services is seeking an IT Change and Release Manager to join their Service Operations Team within the Digital/Tech team.
  
You’ll offer strategic guidance to the Digital and Technology Group on following the change and release governance framework, ensuring minimal risk to business operations along with safeguarding business information.
  
You must have experience working in environments where CI/CD has been implemented and be able to coach and guide teams on integrating the process.
  
  
You will:
  • Design, establish, and sustain a Change and Release Management framework.
  • Oversee and guide change control policies, ensuring minimal risk to business operations.
  • Assess change implementation plans and evaluate associated risks for proper change approvals.
  • Ensure strict compliance with the Change and Release Management policy, monitoring all software changes across the organisation
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to facilitate seamless operations and address any escalations promptly
  
  
What we’re looking for:
  
  • CI/CD experience an essential requirement
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on managing technology release and change in both on-premise and cloud environments
  • Proven ability to engage and consult with stakeholders, including IT project managers, developers, and system administrators
  • Deep understanding of IT service operations, with a particular emphasis on change and release management.
  • Practical experience with ITIL (ideally version 4), DevOps, or similar frameworks and associated tools (e.g., GitHub)
  • ServiceNow experience advantageous (or other ticketing systems)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to a diverse range of stakeholders.
