Business Analyst.

BLACKROC is proud to be partnering with a Global Technology Consultancy, who take value in solving problems and creating value for their customers. We are currently seeking a number of Business Analysts to join their team, and help simplify the complexities of business and technology. 

As a Business Analyst, you would be responsible for the research, analysis, and interpretation of complex workforce information and engaging with a variety of business units to define their reporting and analytics requirements. You will transform these into well-documented user stories and acceptance criteria ready for the development team to pick up.
  
Responsibilities:

• Undertake research and analysis and take responsibility for investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures, and organisation change.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, to ensure they are informed on the progress of the project and manage expectations regarding any changes in scope.
• Prepare business cases defining potential benefits, and options for achieving these benefits through new or changed processes and associating business risks.
• Facilitate meetings between the development team & business stakeholders to scope requirements for projects.
• Work with a broad range of industry-wide modeling techniques
• Work under limited supervision using a high level of initiative to resolve issues, deliver practical solutions and disseminate information that supports business outcomes.
• Ensure changes to requirements are investigated and managed.

About you:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Business Analyst
• Knowledge of Business Analyst methods, techniques, and tools aligned with BABOK v3.
• Experienced in being able to lead and shape thinking while being able to harness the correct information.
