AWS Solutions Architect.

This is an exciting role working with the latest technologies and principles to architect, design and implement game changing AWS based solutions within a scale-up SaaS company. 

Working on an e-commerce software-based solution, you will have the opportunity to work on a platform that significantly helps e-commerce stores to grow their bottom line and drive sales. 

The company is looking for someone who is result-oriented, hands-on, well-versed in performing proof-of-concepts, building highly scalable and reliable distributed cloud systems and automation. You will be experienced in working closely with multiple teams both technical and non-technical like Engineering, Product management, Support, Sales and Leadership teams. 
  
You'll be responsible for:

• Creating the implementation strategy of their systems and communicate this across multiple business verticals and stakeholders
• Improving and expanding the broad AWS cloud strategy
• Providing architectural design input into cloud solutions
• Delegate duties and tasks within the IT department
• Strategise and communicate emerging technologies and recommendations as the business grows
• Providing architectural design input into next gen cloud solutions leveraging IaaS and PaaS

 
Desired Skills & Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Sound judgement and pragmatic approach to delivering AWS architectures that balance customer needs, business constraints and technology
• Experience in designing solutions for e-commerce
• Application architecture and development principles
• Experience in APIs and API gateway
• A good knowledge of networking and security
• Solid experience using Lambda, DynamoDB, Microservices 
• Great communication skills, an ability to work closely with customers, developers and engineers and the confidence to present ideas in open forums
